CAL you can offers a diverse range of community and leisure programs and activities that enable people to enjoy life, make friends and become active members of their local community.
Participants range from school leavers through to mature aged people. Our ongoing commitment to 'Connecting' underpins these programs by providing services in the community, establishing community partners and utilising community resources. Our community partnerships are vital to the success of the community based programs we provide.
Seniors' Lifestyle
CAL you can provides specially designed Senior Programs.
The programs focus on leisurely activities and are directed by client interest on the day. Activities may include: foot spas, massage, aromatherapy, old time movies and music, puzzles, games, crafts, carpet bowls.
There are plenty of opportunities to participate in and enjoy the many experiences life has to offer in an environment that promotes personal choice, optimal satisfaction and the realisation of personal retirement goals. In addition, every effort is made to involve people in activities within the local community.
Specialised Assistance
This is a service offered to adults who have a significant intellectual disability, and / or require additional supports due to physical disability or behavioural supports.
CAL you can Behaviour Assessment and Review Team (BART) is an internal team that take referrals from within the organisation to assist in and support in the management of people with behaviours of concern. BART is a skilled group of specialised staff that guide and influence changes in practice within the different locations.
People who access this service are encouraged and supported to participate in community-based activities. This program actively promotes opportunities for growth, independence and experience. The training and support provided, at all sites, supports each person to maintain and develop their skills and potential through a wide range of programs and activities, based on individual needs, strengths, interests and wishes.
Activities include:

- communication skill enhancement
