What is RIDE?

  • Information about respite services available to support carers of a person with a disability
  • Information and support to non-disability specific service providers who are interested in providing services and respite to people with disabilities
  • Coordination and facilitation of the EMR's Disability Respite Network
  • Updates and publications of the EMR Respite Resource Guide
  • Support to develop and enhance the respite service system through consulting with key stakeholders, collecting data and analysis and facilitating projects that respond to identified needs and priorities in the sector.
